Overview
The Center for Wave Phenomena welcomes representatives of our sponsor companies to the 28th annual meeting of the Consortium Project on Seismic Inverse Methods for Complex Structures.
As in previous years, CWP looks forward to using the Project Review Meeting as a platform on which we exchange ideas and share thoughts regarding this past year's projects, as well as our plans for the future. The meeting also provides the Center for Wave Phenomena with a valuable opportunity to meet with our Consortium sponsor representatives and focus on the scientific problems, trends and challenges that are important to our sponsor organizations.

CWP Tutorial - Monday, May 14 at 1:00 p.m.
Note: Please RSVP to Pam Kraus to attend this tutorial by May 10. 2012.
CWP is pleased to announce that Jyoti Behura, CWP Post-doctoral fellow, will lead this year's CWP tutorial. Jyoti's tutorial is titled, "Attenuation anisotropy: Analysis and estimation." The tutorial will address basic aspects of seismic wave propagation in the presence of attenuation anisotropy and discuss methodologies for estimating the attenuation anisotropy parameters from field data.

Following the CWP Tutorial, all meeting attendees are invited to a welcome reception. No RSVP is necessary but please wear your meeting nametag to enter the reception hall. Light appetizers and refreshments will be served.
